We were delighted to collaborate with NHDOE
at several quarterly implementation meetings
throughout the year. During the meetings we
worked together to:
• Increase access and awareness to resources
that inform classroom instruction by:
» Talking with leaders from the math and
ELA departments to determine the best
approach for supporting each of the area’s
initiatives.
» Providing Lexile and Quantile content for
NH’s Curriculum & Instruction Newsletters
focused on:
− Back to school information for parents
and educators.
− Foundational reading/early literacy
support resources.
− Accessing and utilizing the Lexile and
Quantile Hub’s tools.
• Post new resources to the New Hampshire
Family Portal, such as Similarities and
Differences between Student Scale Scores and
Lexile and Quantile Measures (https://www2.
metametricsinc.com/hubfs/AssessmentScale-Scores-vs-Lexile-and-QuantileMeasures.pdf).
• Plan for presentations on the Lexile and
Quantile Frameworks at the New Hampshire
State Assessment Conference.
• Connect New Hampshire to other states
interested in pursuing the reporting of Lexile
and Quantile measures from SATs.
